How your details are handled.
Plain-English summary of what is collected, why, and what you can ask for. This notice will be reviewed alongside Josie’s final terms of service.
What is collected
If you create a birth chart, we collect your first name, email address, birth date, birth time (if you provide it) and the birthplace you select, along with the coordinates and time zone matched to that place. If you get in touch by email, we hold that correspondence.
Why it is collected
Your birth details are used solely to calculate your chart. Your email address is used to send you your chart and, if you opted in, occasional notes from Josie. Consent for marketing is recorded separately from your chart request.
How it is stored
Details are stored in a private database that is not publicly readable. Birth data is not shared with third parties. Place names are matched using the Open-Meteo geocoding service, which receives only the search term you type.
Marketing consent
Opting in to notes from Josie is entirely optional and never a condition of receiving your chart. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or writing to the address below.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the details held about you, ask for them to be corrected, or ask for them to be deleted. Requests are handled promptly.
Sessions and confidentiality
What is discussed in a reading or coaching session is treated as confidential. Readings and coaching are not medical, psychological or legal services and no clinical records are kept.
